Ron Pies
Co-Founder / Owner
Ron is a Newport resident, where he has lived and been a part of its revitalization since the mid 90’s. He has headed other start-ups while also employed at Delta Airlines (33 years and counting). In 2007 he began a major historic restoration project which is known as studio821, a creative hub for photographers, content creators and creative agencies. Most recently Ron has been a big part of reimagining an old radiator shop now known as Garage on York.
Monica Pies
Co-Founder / Owner
Full time life in the corporate world was how it started for Monica. She took the leap of faith in 2013 to leave Fidelity Investments to enable growth in her 1st of now two start-ups, where she helps to manage day to day operations simultaneously. She can often be found behind the scenes coordinating details from the office, prepping for shoots and events, assisting creatives and clients on the front and back end at both studio821 and Garage on York.
Mary Soller
Private Event Coordinator
Mary has a multifaceted background including over 20 years in clinical research and is a previous owner of a personal training business. Having felt as if she missed her calling in the creative industry, she now showcases her lighthearted energy and resourcefulness coordinating private events. She has a knack for esthetics and is a strong rapport builder. Life changes have given her an opportunity to reinvent herself and lean into her creative spirit.
